Simple stock manipulation. Bezos was watching Meta arrest their fall, and their small rise, IMMEDIATELY following their big layoff announcement. Amazon’s stock wasn’t following, so now it’s time for them to cut the SAME number of heads.
Yes, the economy is in the shitter and only getting worse..but that’s what this is.
2023 will be the year of MASS layoffs, BTW.
