Pinched Nerve and Cannot Afford Massage or Chiropractor. Any advice?
I've had a pinched nerve in my neck for about a week now and don't have the money for a massage or a visit to a chiropractor.

Powdered aspirin and a hot water bottle, that's all I've got.

Anything else I can try?

Yes. There are some very good videos on Youtube to help relieve pinched nerves. I've used them myself. I would point you to a particular one, but I really don't remember which one I used. I'm thinking something with a step ladder.

You are doing everything already. Also, you just have to keep stretching it out. Other than that it takes time

Ibuprofen is bad for you. But Extra Strength Tylenol is a
pretty good pain reliever.
If can afford to lay around and rest for a day or too
it should work itself out.

Kind of risky trying this if you have vertigo, not flex enough to do this but I used to hang by my knees on monkey bar gym set at public playground. Couldn't afford a inversion board but I'd try that just to let gravity unkink my spine. If you try this, might want to have someone w/ you to spot you.

If you have someone local to you, go for a chair massage (usually pretty cheap).

Good luck OP, pinched neck nerve pain just sucks.

I had one that cause atrophy. Only cure was thc/CBD to "lubricate" the cells to align and correct themselves while I used the thc to ignore the discomfort in forcing the change.

Doctors recommended surgery to remove a muscle group. Good thing I distrusted them years ago.

Hey, I had a pinched nerve in my glute... Bob and Brad videos and switch between hot water bottle and digging some ice into the spot. Literally massage the spot with ice, as deep as you can manage. Sorted my pain in 48 hours. Hope you find relief.

Yes. Advil and Tylenol.

Also, tuck your chin in go and turn your neck in the direction of the neck pain (left or right). It should pop. And just do that as many times as possible.

I had a bad pinched nerve and the pain is now gone.

Ice. Heat. stretch. self massage with foam roller rolled, up towel, tennis ball or anything that fits and lets you get at the hurt spot just right. If you feel a burbing knot press on that knot until it releases.

gravity table to stretch out your spine and release the nerve.. sometimes you can lay just right position some pillow.. so when you shake your foot it's pulls on your back slightly.. after 10 or 15 minutes it'll stretch you out a bit. and maybe untrap that nerve..

Good Luck..

Kratom, red Kratom can help, it's the only thing I had.

Keep waiting around and when it gets worse you'll get permanent nerve damage in a leg or a foot. Never ending fun.

When it gets extreme, wild lettuce extract can help you sleep as long as you don't have to stay awake squeezing your legs.
