have you ever search engined your GLP handle?
try it!
after someone asked me if i was some guy he used to know named andy (see below), and then reading the jim carrey thread, i got to thinking. maybe i should drop my handle here into a search engine...

wow, that's quite funny--i'm not a gamer. and i definitely don't film my self gaming. i don't even own any type of game console. ain't nobody got time for that. i'm an almost elderly man! lmao lol

whatever the case, it's kind of funny. or, i guess it could also be scary if you find out that your handle easily leads back to the real you. or, you don't give a fuck. or, you want this to happen. i've seen all of these types here over my decade+ here on GLP.

either way, i found it interesting, and thought it might be a good reminder to keep yourself safe, and keep your handle/glp name totally different from the real you.

personally, i often use some form of obfuscation to mask my whereabouts and identity. i think it is just good prectice for keeping safe online. that's not to say i'm not truthful in my ideas and posts, i just change some of the time and location details. the funny thing is, that this sometimes makes people think they know me as someone i'm not.
so, stay safe people.

sure, big brother can easily find out, and already knows who we are. but still, you don't need to make it any easier for the psychos, stalkers and sociopaths...

wiki: While the Tiger I has been called an outstanding design for its time,[13] it has also been called over-engineered,[14] using expensive materials and labour-intensive production methods.

still much better to be surprised that you're an online gamer that films himself playing games. that's just sad.

Re: have you ever search engined your GLP handle?
A can of corn is a lazy fly ball that is easy to catch.

But this time it worked out, as Remlinger struck out Ken Caminiti on a 3-2 changeup (Caminiti--he is strong--responded by snapping his bat across his knee), and then got Matt Mieske on a can of corn to center. ~ Rob Neyer, ESPN.com, 12 Oct. 1999

Can of corn is one of the more mysterious baseball phrases, with numerous theories behind its origin. One is that it comes from the action of grocery clerks using a stick to tip a can off a high shelf and then catch it (as to hand to a customer). In extended use, the phrase can refer to something easily accomplished.
