When I was a nurse, there wasn’t enough staff. My boss put a sign up 6p-6a with a blank next to it for a name. 7 days a week, and some had 2 blank lines. She told me and the other manager to sign up for every other one. That was in addition to working 8a-5p and I was pregnant. And it was no extra pay because I was salaried at $50K.
