My boss put a sign up 6p-6a with a blank next to it for a name. 7 days a week, and some had 2 blank lines. She told me and the other manager to sign up for every other one. That was in addition to working 8a-5p and I was pregnant. And it was no extra pay because I was salaried at $50K. Some jobs suck. At least Twitter gives nice cafes to eat at, free coffee and no doubt Christmas bonuses. |

Its called restructuring and it happens all the time. Out with the old in with the new. Financials clearly indicate it was necessary. Fit in or don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. They had options and their outcomes are by their own accord. Now there are roles to fill, a show me what you can do atmosphere and the new stars will arise with the opportunity that would never have come otherwise. Shine and let your brilliance be acknowledged and admired. Welcome to the real world. Keep your ego in check and show me your abilities. There is always something better to be obtained and if you don't see that you are a complete moron. Those who chose to leave obviously have no idea what their future faces and its going to be bleak. Nobody will want a terminated or quit Twittee/Facebookee ever. Zuckerberg has lost his mind. Problem children and lazy and communist! |

Count me in! Elon and others are part the generation where we stayed up for days playing games and or coding. I see zero problem with it and wish I did more to advance my career with similar schedules back years ago. I could be retired now. |
