On top of everything else, they are strong in logic and very social. Compare the kids of working families, you will see the difference. Politicians wants to destroy everything. Kick them out of our family life. Fuck them bastards, wants to ruin everything for us. |

I've seen just as many stupid Republican men chase after the trophy wife as Democrats. The wealthy Conservative wife actually looks more "trophy" than crunchy Democrats which means the (R) spend more. More Conservative AND "I don't care about politics" women fall into the desperate Housewives crap than hairy-legged Democrats. |

Up until this past year, I wasn’t all that familiar with the term “gaslighting.” Then, suddenly, it was in the news … a lot. The Washington Post wrote that “Trump’s convention is the ultimate gaslighting exercise.” USA Today declared that “Donald Trump is a classic gaslighter in an abusive relationship with America.” Merriam Webster’s definition of gaslighting is, “to attempt to make (someone) believe that he or she is going insane (as by subjectin ... Cell phones weren't as ubiquitous. Cell phones were basically portable phones then, with texting capability and were not allowed to be turned on in the classroom. At night, when it was time to go to bed, I'd turn off the router in my master bedroom closet - that way my kids weren't staying up all night on their computers. I can't imagine how hard it must be to monitor children's internet usage today. It seems a damn near impossible task. Even when my kids were younger, the wild west of the internet, I was upset at some of the things they were exposed to. So called 'parental controls' aren't effective, especially if kids are going to school and are being exposed to porn & groomed by their teachers. Last Edited by ElleMira on 10/25/2022 10:20 AM |

Even though it was the Wild West back then, things are worse today because more people are contributing. When my kiddo was 3 or so, I was making Sunday breakfast and my husband was watching sesame street videos with our son on their official YouTube channel...spliced into the song was a porn clip. By the end of the day it was reported that someone hacked (I think it was a disgruntled eployee) into the official account and replaced videos with one's he porned up. |

These poor kids are exposed to so much. Not just on the internet, but in real life too. I feel bad for the children being raised in San Francisco and NYC - the stuff they're exposed to on a daily basis. Horrible. I grew up in the 70s/80s. Saturday mornings was School House Rock. We were exposed to some 'racy' stuff on the After School Specials and MTV - but of course nothing even comparable what kids, and adults see on TV today. After School Special with Val Kilmer - back then it was about kids and alcohol (or weed), not fentanyl |
