It wasn’t that good.

But it was nice to see some footage from my old stomping grounds… the offices and hallways in the AZT research area at NIH.

Also good to see Fauci when he was younger even though when I see him today… It makes me feel really effing old (which I confirmed by looking in mirror). I was 22 years old when I started to work for Fauci in 1986.

In all the years I was there, working with dozens of research scientists, dozens of research nurses, administrators, and working closely with Fauci himself… not a single negative comment or concern from anyone about the AZT/ddi drug research. I also worked at Walter Reed with Birx and Redfield. The only negative person was Birx. For some reason she hated me from day one.

As for the EUA, Fauci was under immense pressure to do more. Congress was riding his ass constantly. The gay community was protesting outside of building 10 where we worked. He was constantly getting death threats.

I am not defending the Fauci of today…. He is not the same person he was decades ago. He is not even the same person from 8 years ago, when I last saw him.
