Are people oblivious to the collapse we are about to face?

The collaspe will affect those of you who are in debt or paying a mortgage, or any other loans you will suffer the worse you've ever experienced. If you can survive in a 3rd world country for 10+ years without feeling miserable you would stand a chance. But most cannot because of your greed. You borrowed to get ahead in life and it's now going to bite you in your ass. You thought u were better off than a poor person who is debtfree. You probably felt comfortable in your suburban home thinking you were smarter than people in the ghetto.

No. Those same people be the ones you face when you end up on the streets overnight in the middle of chaos of an angry mob.

Money or guns will not save you. In fact those 2 things will guarantee your death early. You stand no chance defeating people who had no time to be comfortable like you did. You got weak and you will 100% be unable to win.

Only if you are debtfree you stand a chance. Because you have freedom and you only have to get through this collapse which should be easy for you. You were poor before and it will actually benefit you during all this.

Most of you are thinking in terms of a Hollywood movie and not reality. This won't be walking dead it's real life. You think you can survive when you can't even survive in poverty areas. Go try it now and put urself to the test so you get a preview or taste of what's coming for you.

Money will not help because it's the money or monetary system that caused this in the first place. Nobody will accept something of no value. You won't even be alive to use money when it's all over. But If you want to survive. Sell everything back that you borrowed and if you have equity, great. At least you can now pay off your debts so you at least stand a chance.

Well I live in the woods and hang out with one guys a painter, he makes good money. He saying that many people stopped spending and he can't find work. It's happening.

What happens to debt in a total system collapse? Who is going to enforce repayment? Remember the “lier loans,..aka no money down mortgages”? people were living in no money down million dollar homes for years before the banks caught up with them? Free ride for years seems pretty darn good and you save your money as well?

Firstly,, if that many mortgages went bust -- NO one is coming for your home -- that is BS. It will melt the entire financial system down... So why pay back ? - you make no sense. Paying back solves what problem if the entire world as erupted in chaos ?

You would have me believe to sell my stuff and go live in a Ghetto --- are you that stupid - or are you from the ghetto and trying to make yourself seem that you did well in life? - yes , I believe in those times - the hive mind will take over - looting will become survival mode. So are you saying --- that we should loot with the rest of our now Ghetto friend ? - and that is why you still in the Ghetto -- cos your mindest is still in the Ghetto.

Do I think there will be a total breakdown of the fabric of society - YES.. but your post answers to non of the solutions for that time.

My suggestion:

Stock up with PRAYER!
Stock up with skills ( building / welding / hunting etc etc)
Stock up with seeds / produce
stock up with tents / survival gear (water purification etc) .
Stock up with weapons / ammo
Stock up with solar panels / batteries / perimeter gear - alarms
Get out of the city or town --- as far away as possible from anyone else.
set up camp -- wait it out a few months / years - however long it takes --- go back, pick up the pieces.

nope, have plenty of money because i'm not fucking stupid with it. I'll buy up all yalls shit at pennies on the dollar like i did in 2008/09 and flip it the next time they turn on the printers. Just like I did this time.

Instead of wasting it I build business with it that continue to earn me cash flow. You should try it some time instead of expecting handouts like paychecks all the time.

All around, it seems people continue to spend spend spend as if everything is normal. Are people not running out of money? I sure as hell am, and have been pinching pennies for months. Is it just my perception, and I am only noticing the wealthy out there? The last week I have this impending sense of deep economic despair is about to strike, the likes of which has never been seen before. I do not think it will be comparable to anything we have seen in the past since society is now so dependent on the digital economy. When things collapse it will be epic and there will be no safety net as the vast majority of people are so disconnected from self sustainability. And, I do not think those who have skills and the resources to be self sustaining will fare that well as the hungry hordes will seek them out.
