That woman psychologically abused them. I don't care if she claims her heart was in the right place trying to make them behave. You don't terrorize children like that to make them behave. Only someone with poor judgement and a screw loose in their head would persist in scaring children while they screamed and cried in terror. You are traumatizing them doing that. Their brains are still developing and you are re-wiring their brains for future mental health problems when you do shit like that. Daycares don't need someone with poor judgement and a screw loose working around kids. If the employer had kept her on, that would be begging for a future incident to happen where one or more kids gets hurt or killed and the employer would have to explain why they kept someone like that on who has shown poor judgement in the past and is mentally unstable.

You need someone who is kind and patient and shows good judgement to work with young kids like that. Two year olds are known to throw temper tantrums and not do as they are told as they are going through a rebellious developmental stage where they are asserting their independence for the first time from their care givers who have done everything for them up till now because they were helpless babies. Don't want to deal with that then don't get a job working with two year olds. Two year olds not always doing as they are told should not come as shock to anyone with exposure to young kids.
