The LeTourneau Land trains. An idea that would prove useful in the Ukraine conflict

The one really fascinating aspect of this beast is the system where all of the towed units will track precisely where the lead car traversed. If the lead car drove around an obstacle, every following car would also avoid the obstacle.

Diesel electric independant wheel drives, he eventually moved up to a gas turbine engine.
Plans for a future nuclear powered land train that would break the tether to the fuel supply requirement.

Perfect for the conditions of an army needing to advance deep into horrible terrain.

And you even have a little kitchen / sleeping berth area behind the lead vehicle.
