Well if you want to meet a nice pittie you can always come say hi to my boy. Maybe he would change your mind. I don't deny there aren't good ones. I've seen several episodes on the animal channel where they rescue animals. One episode every rescue was a pit and everyone of them, no matter how abused and neglected, warmed right up to the people rescuing them and seemed like great dogs. But, there are too many bad owners and too many letting them breed. In my neighborhood alone I was surrounded by pits, aggressive ones. The people across the street moved, so one less pit there. Then there are also the 2 who mauled my awesome cat. If I would have been there or if I knew where to find these 2, I'd kill them. Maybe painfully after hearing how my cat was so scared, I can picture it. Right!! It's the owners fault not the dogs. And of course most pitties are used for fighting put on steroids etc. But most are nice. It all depends on who raises them. Most are nice...until my children are dead... |

My pointer/setter mix was not like that at all. loved other dogs and protected my cats from other cats, without hurting the other cats. He loved to run. |

I have been offered a full blood pitt puppy on many times & have always refused. They are way to much of a liability for me because I refuse to keep my dogs penned up. Only dog I've ever shot was a pitt at my house, just yards from my front door, growling at my dog & myself. He had already attacked a neighbors dog. It was just a 20 gauge w/ bird shot but the never returned. Yes, the owners of the pitt were given the vet bill for the attack. Another time 2 pitts cornered on of my dogs on my front walkway & I beat the hell out of them with a golf club. Once the way subdued I looked at them and saw both of them had their ears chewed down to almost nubs. They had most definitely been used for fighting. They were both wearing collars & one had a double snap on it. I snapped the dogs together & sent them on their way. I now have a killer BLM burro that keeps ANY dog (or people) from the pittbully area away from my house. I do not understand why anyone would want a pitt unless you have a junkyard with a fence that needs some type of security. If anyone wants a pet there are for too many better choices. If you're flat broke & have nothing & don't care about the harm something you own could bring to yourself legally & financially get a pitt. |

My neighbor’s pit bull, Lilly, was sitting in her front yard, she was fixated on me. Lilly was thinking: the owner is not home, I am going to kill this guy, I am going to tear him to pieces. I looked up and I saw the charge had started. The dog was growling with anger. I held the box in front of me hoping the dog would bite it instead of me. The dog was closing in fast and running at full speed. I yelled “Back, Get Back!”. Fortunately, Lilly was tethered to a rope so she went up into the air and came to a sudden stop. The dog then walked back to her house as if nothing happened. Lilly did not seem to be injured at all. Pit Bulls make up only 6% of the dog population but they’re responsible for 68% of dog attacks. It is the biggest lie and deception about dogs ever. Ive been bitten over a dozen times in my life time by dogs, i was a paperboy for years. I was bitten over and over to the point i have no fear of dogs. The worst dogs were poodles! I had skin ripped off my arm, with the poodle on its leash held by the owner. Had a chunk taken out of my stomach by a poodle who was pounding at the door to get me. i told the lady dont open your door. She said the dogs bark is worse than its bite! As it took a chunk out of my stomach the second she opened the door. Was collecting for the paper at the door when a dalmatian bit me in my ass. Was at a good friends house with her rottweiler sitting quietly next to me. With out growl or indication it fanged me violently in my face. Through my lip and into my gums with a fang hole. Was out playing with my dog and was attacked by a big german shephard. Bit me in my leg, and when he did i grabbed it by the rear leg swung it twice around and then up over my head and slammed it on the concrete, it was out cold. I have bite story after bite story and not once have i been bitten by a pit bull. Fact checking with a liberal MSM media reporting is much like pissing in the wind. Remember all dogs bite because all dogs are territorial and all dogs are naturally predatory. Exactly I was bitten by a Rottie but that doesn't mean I want to kill them all. My father only owns Rotties. Doesn't mean I'm scared. Bingo! The truth is all dogs bite!! My parents raised dachshunds, poodles for money they were breeders. Been around animals all my life and i can tell you with absolute certainty they will all bite your ass! Had a shetlend pony that would bite anyone who didnt know how to ride it. Ive been bitten by fish, snakes, birds, dogs, lizards, racoons, even a child will bite your ass if your a prick!
