Children killed, mother injured by family dogs

Pitbulls should only exist in zoos.

Those dogs are essentially the mike tyson, of the dog breeds, and no one should trust those animals.

If they feel under threat, its kill or be killed for those dogs, and you cannot know what triggers those instincts.

The pitbull breed of dog, should be totally and utterly banned, they are way to dangerous to control, and anyone having them around little kids, is asking for trouble, and this family found out.

Having a pitbull, is madness, especially around little kids.

anyone that defends having a pitbull is an asshole...its like having a gun that can decide to fire itself.

My son got bit by one when he was 10, a guy had one at a camp out. It bit him and my friend was standing right there to pull him loose before it got too bad.

He had a lead dinner with multiple helpings.


But he was a good dog and had never bitten anyone, you know how that shit goes. We had asked him to put his dog somewhere away from the kids.

Oh, but he was such a good dog. The Chinese have the best idea - just cook and eat them.

Woman near us had an epileptic fit, her 2 pit bulls basically ate through her head.

This is why I won’t volunteer in the animal shelters around here, they are filled with pit bulls, which IMO should be put down. I won’t handle them sorry.

And by that I mean that those fucking piece of shit pit bulls need to be banned. At the very least, it should be illegal to breed them. That would start the process of phasing them out, ideally within about 15 years. In the meantime, the owners should need a license and have steep insurance requirements.

A woman who died after being attacked by dogs in a house has been described as a "one-in-a-million mum" by her family.

A lot of white women have been getting pit bulls.

The local animals shelter seems to have lots of pit bull mixes.

I think they should neuter all pitt bulls in hopes they go away and kill the ones that have killed people and pets. I had 2 pit bulls maul my cat last year, cat was in my yard, no idea where the pitt bulls came from. Who lets their dangerous dogs run around?

Owner was a buddys kid, his dad unloaded on his ass. I didn't need to do anything else. He was just following the trend and getting a big mean dog.

Unsarcastically, I wonder why anyone would want somebody else's used pit bull that ended up in a shelter because the first (or maybe, third) owner couldn't take care of it.

I own a female pit bull.
We love her and she is the sweetest thing with tons of personality.
We NEVER EVER EVER treat her like she isn't a bomb ready to explode. She has never bitten, never attacked, and when accidently causes any pain or injury during play shows genuine guilt and remorse.
We still never ever ever treat her like she wouldn't flip her shit and turn into a murder monster.

Never let our guard down. Never off leash in public. Never brought close to people or other dogs without focused attention on behavior and reaction.

She's not a toy and she's not a teddy bear (well she is, but just for us). She is a beast built for killing and she is treated as such.

Not here, the woman down the street has at least one, she used to have good dogs, no idea why she is getting crap dogs. The woman out back has lots of kids and 2 pits.

No idea who owned the 2 who attacked. If the one pit in back ever got out or jumped my fence I hope I can kill it before it hurts anyone, it is huge and mean, even according to the woman who owns it.
