the russians did the SAME EXACT THING in ww2. they fell back hard, defended at a certain line, the germans got over zealous, they overextended, then the russian reserves came and swarmed the germans.

Yes, once the 200,000 fresh Russian troops and all that extra military hardware hits the front lines, they will crush whatever is left of the Ukraine military. (Assuming the US doesn't manufacture an excuse to intervene, which they most likely will).

Also, supposedly some of the Russian military that has been fighting for the last 6 months took some time off for R&R.

Even at that, Ukraine had heavy losses the last 2 days.
1100 guys killed day before yesterday, and yesterday I think it was around 500 killed. ANd ammo dumps, multiple jet fighters, heliicopters, etc were destroyed.

Today's Igor report was pretty boring.
Around 500 dead Ukrainian troops, couple jets and 2 choppers destroyed, and an ammo dump and some kind of HQ. Probably was a couple artillery pieces and a couple armored vehicles thrown into the mix.

The day before there were 1100 Uke troops killed, so it was more noteworthy.

I have to believe you can find Igor's report though if you are really interested.
