Abilify - Medication- Anyone have any advice on whether to take this shit or not?!!!!!

You've had some good natural, plant medicine suggestions. They can work, don't always work. Worth a try before adding another Rx.

It wouldn't hurt to see a holistic or functional MD. Anxiety and depression can be caused or exacerbated by vitamin & mineral deficiencies, even food sensitivities. If any of those are factors contributing to your anxiety and OCD, you may find some relief through proper supplements and diet changes. The more I learn about physical and mental health, the more I see how it relates to the gut. A healthy gut gives the body and brain more of a fighting chance. Gut repair takes time and isn't a quick fix. Pills seem like a quick fix, but if they're masking other issues, they fail long term.

Look up what you can about getting off abilify. I don't know anything about it, but I know many drugs have more withdrawal effects than the snazzy leaflets let on. You may want to consider how hard it is to stop before you start.

It changed my mother in laws personality from a chatter box to completely zoned out. She doesn’t talk much anymore and sleeps a lot. Take low doses if you take it and read the side effects.

I've tried lots of natural OTC stuff like Ashwaganda with not much luck, tried 5HTP, F that shit, made me worse. St. Johns Wort helps but not a lot.

Yes, I read that also!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!! That's what really made think about just saying screw this shit and not taking it at all. I'm soo confused and frustrated.

Don't take any big pharma drugs use natural solutions for depression St Johns Wort, Kava Kava ect... (I'm sure others on here can recommend lots of them). I also think helpful therapies like DBT and CBT are useful to help you learn strategies to feel better.

My experience with it was terrible. But just because I had one of the rare side-effects doesn't mean that you will.

That shit about it being traceable freaked me the fuck out and probably will deter me from taking another med in my entire life. It sucks bc maybe something can help, but all the horror stories from research as well as this Vaxxed stuff going on has me more paranoid than ever about taking anything Pharmakeia related than I've ever been in my life or ever thought I could be. This is fucked, this/ my reality is fucked.

The amount of stress I've been under the last 6 years is causing one in their mid- early thirties to go gray. I'm exhausted. Fuck all this shit. I want to bow out of this fucked reality, let WW3 commence already. That's how I'm feeling, but I know it's not right. My 20's sucked, my 30's suck, lets get moving.

I don't think there's a one size fits all answer. It depends on your symptoms, severity, individual biochemistry.

Ability is a dopamine rheostat that helps regulate over or under activation of dopamine.

If you have schizoaffective, bipolar, bipolar depression or mania, it can be effective. OCD/anxiety may benefit.

I wouldn't unless your anxiety/OCD is debilitating.

Had a dementia patient they put her on it. Took 3 weeks to figure WTF she was up all night chasing people, flopping on the floor, trying to murder people.

Took her off it and she was good as gold. They thought it might help her memory and a few mild dementia symptoms but it sent hell under her feet till we figured out she didn't act like that till she started that pill.

Oddly enough, she had diabetes too.

But we just made sure no other patients would get that med.

Do not take that garbage, it's ineffective cancer causing poison fake medicine, just like all the other big pharma snake oil crap being peddled on TV.

if you have a seizure disorder or epilepsy, maybe avoid it.

Here's a hint: ALL psychotropic drugs are toxic and will literally warp your mind, while draining your wallet until it's dry. You'd be much better off eating dirt than putting those shit pills in your body.
