I am not racist if I don't enjoy black on black love stories in film. I just don't identify with the black culture. Why would I ever expect straight people to identify with gay culture? Perhaps, a Will and Grace or Grace and Frankie Sit-com works because of the interaction between gay and straight culture. But the "insides" of a gay relationship might just happen to be the same love story as everyone else's, when you get down to it...just like liver may have a lot of iron in it but you can't stand the taste. Yeah, I don't find anything wrong with the normies not wanting to watch or read a film/book purely based on two men who fall in love. I don't know what the big fuss is about. I actually frequently will stop or not start a season/show or movie if i see any fruitcake characters right off the bat, only some shows know how to slide them in without making it a big deal, and those shows don't overly focus on them in the show as well.
