Usual routine for me... drinking coffee, browse through GLP. Click on 4-6 threads and see what is out there (I don't watch or visit news sites except for ZH).
On lucky days I can end with a thread like the one you started OP. Just a little happy sumfink that brings a smile and makes a good end point to my surfing and to start my day.

It's called a doom break. It's Saturday night and most people need a reason to smile and laugh after all the political and environmental trauma of the past week. Sorry you lack a sense of humor.

Everyone has a different sense of humor. I found the dog's reaction hysterical. Just because it didn't make you smile or laugh doesn't mean that your judgment and the story you made around the harmless posting of a funny animal video is valid. You are judging not just me, but everyone else who liked it. It's Saturday night, I am kind of bored and deeply affected by the damages done by Hurricane Ian. My British comedy night got canned because my friend has no internet at his house at the moment, so instead I am sharing a bit of lightheartedness for others who could use a 10 second distraction from the serious doom that is unfolding. The other thread I pinned shows devastating flooding in a poor Florida community almost no one knows exists.

At GLP, it doesn't matter what one posts, there is ALWAYS a critic or ten waiting to chime in. My most heartfelt posts get one starred and filled with hateful comments and then I get accused of censorship by the haters for removing their vile responses.
