Backside of the storm was way too strong off SW Florida considering the eye had already come ashore and covered over with clouds / collapsed. Unreal amounts of rain. You could see evidence of the pumping in Fort Myers, where some houses were destroyed and others right next door were untouched. Like those California "fires" that burn up houses and melt cars, and leave trees untouched. Energy from above, presumably satellites. They had to pump it visibly on-land in Fort Myers because otherwise their storm was dying out. |
