Ukraine had the largest standing army in Europe! NATO trained. They've engaged in Iraq/Afghanistan with the US and were seeded with anti tank and anti air. With a huge tenchline and fortifications - they planned forr this war with Russia for 8 years.

Since 2014, after they illegally removed their president by force, they fired artillery at the Donbass killing thousands of people. They still do. You can see photos of civillians literally split in half, with half their bodies vaporized by artillery in shopping markets.

Most of the "Russians" fighting Ukraine aren't even technically Russians! They're Ukrainians from Donbass/Luhansk. Russia has barely had any infantry most of these months. But that's changing now.

FYI, Ukraine has lost as many troops as England has an active army! Donbass supported by Russian artillery has held off 25 nations. That's an incredible feat.

Consider that the US has NEVER - NEVER fought anyone one-on-one. The US always gang-fights and still loses! Look up the Korean war the last real war that was nearly peer-to-peer and the US was getting clobbered.

Liman will be their big PR victory for the midterms in November. Ukraine is throwing huge numbers of men and equipment for a pointless "offensive" to take a village/small city. But even NYT admits Ukraine now has no reserves and their manpower/equipment losses have been staggering and unsustainable. NATO is out of equipment also to give to Ukraine. Russia meanwhile is now amassing huge troop/equipment numbers north of Kyiv in Belarus and is about to invade the West Ukraine with a massive army. Once the referendums are completed and these areas are officially adopted into the Russia Federation, the war will turn to two fronts against a Ukrainian army that is completely depleted. Russian troops will pour in from the East and North. Russia has been fighting with a huge manpower deficit for six months, but in the coming weeks some 300k to 500k troops are going to be mobilized.

This is why there is all this rhetoric about nukes. The only way for the US/NATO to win is to escalate and go nuclear, and Article 5 to bring NATO into the war. Ukraine's Secretary of National Defense is hinting that Ukraine has a "dirty bomb" and will use it if necessary.

Then the USA manipulated Japan into attacking the USA and then the USA manipulated Germany into declaring war on the USA.

The USA cut off the supply of resources to Germany, Japan, and Italy but accelerated the supply of resources to the British empire and Russia.

Without resources Germany, Japan, and Italy began to collapse back from their US fueled expansion out.
