We lived in Pensacola, I was there for Opal and Ivan, we lived right on the beach also. A couple people in our neighborhood didn’t evacuate for opal it was only cat 3, and suffered the consequences. We also went up to Georgia and stayed with my aunt. I’ll never understand the people that stay, you have so many advanced warnings and yet people sit in their houses thinking they can weather 150 plus winds with storm surge for the coastal neighborhoods. Just fucking leave. even if you survive the aftermath is horrible try living without power for 2 weeks fuck that shit GTFO anything over a cat 3 I'm out that’s the thing even if you’re up on the second floor, and you have food and water, and you’ve survived everything, now you’re not able to leave your house because of water and debris which means now you’re stuck with no refrigerator, no air-conditioning, and no flushing toilet Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads. Thoughts create, mind them well. |

Stay away from the shore and low lying flood plains and hunker in a safe structure like a concrete building or even a car that is parked away from trees. I feel bad for the people that died but it only takes about 80Iq to know this kinda stuff. Its common sense. I hope they get their lives back in order soon. |
