I haven’t signed up for a membership ($60Nz a year) yet. Are they any good? Quoting: Katipo Good for bulk preps. Those ones that will be opened on what passes for YouTube in 2099 |

We gave up on their walnuts as they were rancid twice. When we first joined, we overdid it buying edible things in bulk. It was fun and they have some interesting junk foods. They also bring in temporary food products often. Free samples can con you into throwing something like chocolate-covered macadamias into your cart. They have a great return policy. I’ve never seen any books or clothing I like, but my husband likes their socks. Furniture: I’ve seen some outdoor furniture I like. Lately they’ve been carrying total electric body massage chairs. If we ended up with one of those, I’d become a chair addict: Late to work thanks to sitting in my chair. Not coming to the party as I will be sitting in my chair at that time. Toys: We have found things for great nieces/nephews and grandkids, but it is not really the best place for that type of Christmas shopping. I’m just going on and on because it’s 1:00 am my time and unable to sleep. Just go for a visit to make a decision. Last Edited by Queen Runner on 09/28/2022 02:21 AM |

They have the best meats here in the US. The organic chicken breasts and chicken thighs and sirloin steaks and flank steak is what I like to buy in bulk there. Then there's lots of case items I'll buy there too. Their store brand is Kirkland. I like their beef jerky. Every time I go there I come out with about $600 to $800 of stuff. Their prices aren't necessarily a bargain, but they stock a lot of quality items that you can't find elsewhere. Costco and HyVee are the 2 best places here in the US to shop for food. |

I forgot this: We also get Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Coffee Mate, and Splenda at Costco. (Yes I consume Coffee Mate and Splenda. I know it’s junk.) I get my Olive Oil from elsewhere. |

Yeah but there's a loophole where you can buy a gift card and use that to get inside, even if you don't have a membership. |

You think you're gonna buy top or even mid shelf whiskey for peanuts? So Costco only sells cat’s piss whiskey. Typical american store. They sell top brand spirits for less than you'll get them anywhere else here in the US. Their Kirkland brand vodka, for example, is made by the same folks who make Grey Goose vodka, etc. "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell, where they already have it."
