Hi, I'm sorry to ask, but yesterday my mother was admitted to the hospital with afib after having it undiagnosed for a few days. They've been trying different medication to get the arthymia to resolve but they haven't had any luck getting either the arythmeia to clear up or her heart rate to go down below a level of concern. Sounds like they've tried most every medication and they might have to do a procedure where they anesthetize her and then shock her heart with a defibrillator and if that doesn't work I don't know what will happen. She's 70 and has had heart issues all of her life and I'm very worried about her. If it isn't too much to ask and you're the believing sort I would appreciate it if you could find the time to say a little prayer? My mother is a Christian and it would give her great comfort. Thank you.

I've had my heart shocked quite a few times due to Afib. It is such a relief and it does not hurt at all. Had two ablations done to correct my problem. It was not painful at all and it's worth it. Praying your Mom gets the right treatment.

If ghere was really real concern and care for people this would exist without charge. people also should work way less hours per day anf less days of the week. though if they didnt tax and slave us, we'd have this and more all on our own....

Will definitely pray for her and also for you. Very sweet that you have asked for prayer. This is a subject dear to my heart. I am 48 and have had to have my heart stopped and reset in the ER about 9 times during my adult life. Highest it has went to has been 285 bpm. Superaventricular tachycardia. They shoot adenosine in me to stop it and have the paddles on stand by incase my heart rhythm doesn't reset. It hurts so bad each time they have to use the drug on me. I wish it on no one. Stopping what I am doing now to pray for your mom. God bless you both.
