Those of us that are true Realists are incapable of being pessimistic, but can very well be Optimists in any given situation.

We see things for what they are without the frivolity of details that tend to muddy the waters. There is no possible way to be pessimistic when you see things for what they truly are at their core, just the opposite with optimism, we see things clearly therefore can be optimistic no matter the outcome.

I'd have to say i'm an optimist/ realist. I know that I have salvation through Jesus Christ, and that i cannot lose my salvation. Whatever happens from this point on is peanuts. Life is short, but i don't need much to be happy. Pain is rarely ever as bad as you think it'll be. Besides, I'm happier when I'm being worked to the point of exhaustion. In all of that, i'm mostly fine with whatever happens around me.
I do realize that whatever can go wrong will probably go wrong but i've been preparing for that.
