Can confirm this too.. In these vortices, wind speed can be up to 10% higher than in the rest of the eyewall. Eyewall mesovortices are most common during periods of intensification in tropical cyclones.(<50%) [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] So this implies sustained winds of at least 210/1.1 = 190 mph. And that it's in a period of intensification. |

Three hours of pounding before front end of eye wall passes, then have to deal with back end of eye wall (sorry auto correct turns this to eyeball LOL) Feeling sick about my daughter and boyfriend staying in my ex's house in Cape Coral The new fence came down, but screen pool lanai is still up, but they're collapsing all around. Just took a valium cause I'm so worked up and anxious (may take some hits off my THC vape pipe to calm down)-- have to pee every few minutes. Never felt this ominous. The lake behind my house-- only about 100 yards wide and a quarter mile long is pushing the water (white caps and waves like the beach) within 12' of the rear of my house. One shutter on second floor that is accordion style, I didn't have secured, and finally think I got it-- but got soaked. . Cat 5 now just 10 miles west of me. I still have power flickering, but half of my neighborhood is out. I can't even look out front as I have it all shuttered up.
