Re: Hurricane Ian Info
Biggest concerns right now is that models might be underperforming regarding Rapid Intensification. We'll see how fast the pressure drop is today. If it trends slightly more right, (closer to Ft Myers like Hurricane Charlie 2004), it would make landfall with less impacts from shear and dry air-- while also growing its windfield.

So finally we have something to go off of...

No eye but dark red kidney bean loop with a second dark red kidney bean whirling around...

It's not stable, it's lopsided, but there is at least a formation now so once it get balanced than we can have a prediction...

Re: Hurricane Ian Info
Cool..ur still at it. With my first chance to take a look @Ian, the millibars dropped from 983 this morning to 976 at 2pm EDT. I wonder when it turns to CAT2. I'm still surprised that Hillsboro is the target. They haven't had to deal with this kind of threat in the last 100yrs, from what I've heard. What could go wrong there...

And I don't know of any high pressure system in the region that would help to push it off track. Once fully in the Gulf of Mexico things could turn bad quickly...

Hang on to your hat folks!
