Biggest concerns right now is that models might be underperforming regarding Rapid Intensification. We'll see how fast the pressure drop is today. If it trends slightly more right, (closer to Ft Myers like Hurricane Charlie 2004), it would make landfall with less impacts from shear and dry air-- while also growing its windfield.

Just in the past couple of hours the storm has burst CDO symmetrically over the center of circulation. Would not be surprised if we see a 10-20mb drop from NHC forecast to forecast sometime today.
