Whenever I get a hankering to go out for breakfast, I go to the store instead and for the same price you pay at a restaurant, I get enough eggs, bacon and bread for a weeks' worth of breakfast. Buy the Kerry's Irish butter, home cooked breakfast is 10x better than that restaurant crap.

Most people don't even know how to cook, which there's no excuse for in the day of Youtube tutorials.

The pizza place I go to no longer has:

sea food pizza
pineapple pizza
chilly sauce pizza

Plus countless products feel the need to make themselves worse in every way just for a 0.000001% increase in efficiency.

Does it come across their minds that because everyone else is ultra-downgrading, that now downgrading will bring in more buys because they will stand out?

Nobody wants to now buy a worse version of what they bought before.

Uh, this one's kinda tough.

Lunch there last week, $26 for two. But we don't go there very often. They're being hit by the same price increases we see at the grocery store; like the $1 a dozen eggs now close to $3.

If you have a gas station convenience store set up around you like Wawa or Sheetz, the food is pretty good- made to order and reasonably priced.

Not much fine dining ambience there but after you eat, take your mom to Kohl's. Women love Kohl's! Or Home Goods.

It is all about peckerwood validation. Cracker Barrel had that mouthbreathing, biblethumping vibe. Their little gift area had that “down home” feel. The food, ladled with grease and “fixins” evoked hayseed bhoomertard memories of visits to grandparents in Dog Patch. Alas, murica has slipped to where the rednecked nirvana is unattainable.

I save money buy not using creme fraiche for scrambled egg. Would only buy if there were guests ( never then ) Why do they only sell large tubs. Its ok enough with a creamy milk.
