Anyone been to Cracker Barrel for Breakfast lately?

$5 dollars for a fucking cup of coffee

and its the worst coffee on earth,

It's essentially glorified TV dinners.

Garbage establishment and food.

No more Sunrise Sampler. What I used to get most times.

But I haven't been in over a month. These changes were a couple months ago.

And yes, prices were up.

ahh yes, the cheesy hash brown casserole, I know it well.

their service and food has had a steady decline over the past couple years.

sad, they are like an american icon here.

It's the same price increases everywhere and they aren't even close to topping out.

Many of these restaurants will go out of business as fewer people can afford to eat out.

That funny about 6 months ago the wife and I stopped to get breakfast. I take a sip and spit it back out. I told the server this coffee was bad. I wait for a new brew and it was exactly the same. Absolutely awful coffee there.

I hate going there, can never find anything I want, since I'm never there for breakfast. Breakfast for dinner strikes me as really stupid.

No but my local restaurant has increased prices at least 50%. I know because I used to take out my client every Thursday for lunch. It was always $100-$110. Now it is $150-$180.

The good thing is now there's less people there! No more reservations needed.

Sorry to hear about Cracker Barrel, we have very fond memories of the place.
We did a year of fulltime rving and spent free nights in their parking lots and always got meals there that were great, homey, and good service. One really cold morning after spending the night we bundled up and went into the restaurant for breakfast, we were the first ones there and got to sit by a big roaring fire, it was magical.

Darn I loved those breakfasts-that is way too much

they have terrible coffee and even worse food

the coffee there is bad on purpose... they don't want you hanging out cup after cup...

they also have no arm rests on any of their chairs for this reason. (and also because the very fat people there won't feel too uncomfortable)

I used to go there now and then but I thought the same, the food was highly processed like tv dinners.

Black Bear Diner for breakfast. I wish we had them in Idaho.

I don't think they have any in California where I live. If I want to go out for breakfast I go to Flappy Jacks since they have massive omelettes.
