Assuming you are correct that the rapture will not occur, I don't think you can state that the saints will be safe. If it the rapture is not a true event, then yes, many will be shocked but and I do believe one should separate themselves from the 'world' as much as possible, but I maintain, most or all that do, will be eternally saved but will face death.

I find no solace in this. I pray the rapture is true, but accept that it may be a false interpretation, so I pray for faith to endure whatever evil may comes my way.

As in the days of Noah. It was a simpler time but people are people and human nature is to sin. The world just became corrupted because of human nature.

Fast forward to now, we have war and rumors of war; we have any number of natural disasters with some beyond a regional influence.

We have had time such as I just described throughout human history. But there is a difference this time during this era. We have corruption on a world wide scale that affects virtually everyone on the planet one way or another. We are so incredibly close to what I feel are the end times. There is time to turn back to the path of righteousness, but it is fading away.
