And the strengthening of that resolve has been exactly the case ever since NATO was founded in 1949: its express purpose was to squash the Soviets once and for all and since they couldn't accomplish that via thuggish intimidation -backed to the hilt by U.S. $$$- once the Soviet Union did fall they commenced to ring that nation with own puppet member-states and it continues today with their threats to add Ukraine, Finland and Sweden to their wicked fold.

And THAT'S what this war is all about... and -as usual- with the full blessing of the almighty American ideal which is no longer golden but rather just so much very tarnished Brass!

as a last ditch effort to get the peace process moving, or
face the consequences.
