They're letting their prisoners out so they can migrate to the United States. Russia and it's loser sidekicks are a problem to the entire world..

Even with full mobilization it will take 4 to 6 months to be ready. Russia lost a lot of their Battlefield Commanders and equipment. They would have to reestablish supply lines and logistics.

Russia basic training of their military only takes 90 days which is why their major offensives are nearly always broken up into three-month operations. And after serving for a full years, the top recruits automatically receive officer status if they want it... and the Russians don't have to dangle a $50,000 bonus to fill those rosters.

And despite all the jaw-jacking about Russian conscription, they have NO SHORTAGE of volunteers because their young men and women fully understand what it's like to have your country invaded. In contrast, American youth couldn't care LESS about serving their country with many of them more than willing to take up arms against it. And let's not even get into how many in our armed forces would be more worried about breaking a freshly-painted nail!

And therein lies the BIG difference in who will win in a knock-down drag-out global war... but if I were to fear any military it would be the U.S. - because lacking the manpower to back up our manifest destiny, we'd have to resort to nukes to win.
