I've had 2 or 3 sleep paralysis dreams and numerous lucid dreams. One paralysis dream almost gave me a heart attack!

The lucid dreams usually came from a solid sleep at night followed by a quick sleep again in the early morning.

I have experienced a fair share of lucid dreaming. I can truly control the narrative, except when it comes down to sex. That's where weird shit happens,such as the face of the girl I'm banging suddenly losing all its features, becoming a flat blob of skin, among other weirder shit.

When I wake up from dreaming, be it lucid or not, I always visualize fractal patterns and caleidoscopic effects, with my eyes open or close - it doesn't matter - in pitch black, for a minute or two. Very strange...

"Strange" is the best term for those dreams or most dreams for that matter. Like opening a door to the internet in real life.

It does tend to come from over sleeping. Over sleeping isnt the correct way to describe it though. More like after a deeep sleep. An overwhelming feeling of tiredness comes over me not long after waking. Many times after waking up in the middle of the night

Sleep paralysis can be terrifying and my first reaction is to fight it, and I have yet to figure out anything that helps to get out of it.

If you concentrate and dont fight yet dont give in, a balance, youll have a lucid dream. Not nearly as easy as it seems,at least for me, though

My trick for lucid dreams is to jump in the air. If I hover, I know I'm dreaming so then I can pursue the dream to higher degrees.

One of them tall shadowy ones? "Woke up" in my bed from a dream and saw one reaching under my covers from the foot of the bed. It stopped when I tried to scream, then crawled on top of me and roared in my face.
