SOOO ... how many would show up for YOUR funeral?

Funerals for the elderly are a waste of money. Better just to get cremated, have a family diner, separate the ashes and ask each family member to go take part of your ashes to go be spread somewhere wonderful in place they remember being with you at or were you could have gone together. Or just pay for your whole family to take a cruise when you die and dump your ashes at sea. At least everyone can say their good bye privately in a happy place.

Correct. Funerals are rally for grieving over the young so family can move on. In the elderly, it is expected that you get old useless, sick and die

None. If I have my way, there won't be a funeral service. Just pray over me and put me in the ground.

Im not having a funeral when I die...Straight to the crematorium with no service except for immediate family in attendance. I dont see the point..

I went to a funeral saturday for a friend who had at least 50 people show up. He had no immediate family left either. It was good to see. Hit your 60's and half the people you went to school with are deceased already. Yipes!

Beats me! I've been asking that question my whole life. I want people to celebrate for me when I finally leave this hell hole.
