SOOO ... how many would show up for YOUR funeral?

I don’t care, I’ll be dead.

Two and one of them is my dog.

No one at all, unless my husband is still alive after I die.

There will be no funeral, since I have no family or friends to speak of.

About 300 showed up for my dad's funeral twenty years ago.

Right now not that many would likely show up for mine.

It's ok. Nobody has to know who I was.

I doubt my daughters would show up, if there was a funeral, which there wouldn't be.

My husband gave me the best advice before he died a couple of weeks ago - he said, if anything happens and I die, don't do anything foolish!

Funeral is a stupid tradition and just a scam to make money. I have left strict instructions with my wife, NO funeral service. Don't give those crooks one thin dime! Cremate and dump in the ocean. If you want to have a family gathering at the house, OK, but that's it.

My Grandfather stated categorically that he didn't want any kind of funeral or gathering, just to be cremated and his ashes spread in the sea in by a village where he loved to go fishing. My grandmother dutifully complied.

He died over 50 years ago (1969) aged 82, he worked for 40 years in the same Railway station office in a busy town, his home just a quarter of a mile from his office. He had many friend from all the clubs he belonged to.

He had the right idea. Funerals are bullshit.

If you are 180 lbs, and, each floor is 10 ft tall, you'll hit the floor at almost 63 mph.

Don't know if I would trust that fall to end my life immediately.

But, at least you'd be at the hospital where you could get some help ASAP...

i talked to my son about this and I told him, I'll go ahead and dig the hole for my body and all he has to do is drop me in it and cover me up with dirt.

I figure if i do most of the prep work, I can count on him to show up to tie things off.

I'm not having a funeral. Told my husband it's straight to the crematorium for me. I want my ashes mixed with potting soil and used to plant a tree that either produces fruit or nuts way out in the wilderness where my remains will feed the wildlife and maybe one day some poor soul who gets hopelessly lost. That way husband, kids and grandkids can remember me by spending time in nature instead of remembering a sad funeral.

None.....I specifically wanted no funeral.....its a pain in the ass for people and its depressing.......I'll be cremated and the money for a traditional funeral will be used to throw a dinner party at a nice restaurant......people like free booze and food......I'm considering some door prizes too.....a traditional funeral runs 10K+ nowadays so the money is better spent making people happy rather than depressed!

Considering I will probably die working out on the farm in the woods alone and never be found, there will be a lot, bears, cougar, birds, wolves, coons, you name it, then count the insects. It will be an animal party.
