Brazilian Off-duty cop takes out two motorcycle robbers

There comes a point where people who might be able to stop criminals have to do it, even if it is a risk to them.

If robbed, I must fight, even if I may die, so that granny and Trevor the ten-year-old don't die in my place when the criminal hits the next target.

It isn't fair. But life isn't designed to be equitable. Those who have the skills, and the abilities, must stand for those who do not.

This man did, in this case. Few will see it that way, but these robbers weren't going to stop with him. Except that, of course, he made them stop there.

We need to release off-duty Brazilian cops in Chicago.

That "off duty cop" did the right thing. He put down to bad guys who offered him violence.

that is how you deal with robbers. Remove them from the Gene pool and don't let your taxes take care of them.

I think many US states would prosecute the hero because the threat was over when the thieves began to flee. Those same states prohibit deadly force to protect property.

While I disagree with those prohibitions, gun owners must beware.

Even with a carry license, it's a felony in some states to carry in certain places. Depending on the state, it might include school campuses, places of worship, etc.

I sometimes travel for work, so it's vital to know local restrictions.
