I'd be very f-ing nervous too if 6 cops showed up claiming something is going on in my home asking/demanding/threatening that if I don't let them in WITHOUT a warrant that it would be worse if THEY DID have a warrant.

And I'm someone who has nothing to worry about - about any crime unless making dandelion wine for personal use is now a crime.

True. This has to be considered. I’m leaning to legit but open to any information to that effect. The lady talking may not be a badged officer, which helps them get away with it. Maybe a police employed social worker. She is not in uniform, just a police t shirt. The three uniformed look legit to me.

No shooting was going on. The cops did not show up with guns drawn. They showed up based on a pissy ass neighbors complaint.

If you answer the door non-agressive to the cops knock - you have every GD RIGHT to ask why they are there and if they have a warrant if they want to come in. That is NOT second guessing the police - thats simply asking why they are there.
