She fell in love with my dad and the feeling was mutual with him! So yeah some band "groupies" CAN find gold! It's a rarity though. LOL |

He got annoyed and almost left. His buddy begged him to stay. He stayed and took my mother home. They were married less than three months later. |

He said "don't you have a team she can play on?" I said sure, she could play on our team. I didn't have a team... So I got her name an number and told her I'd call with the next practice time. Damn - she was beautiful. After she left, I obviously needed to find other members of the 6-person volleyball team. I had guy friends that would play, but I needed two more females to complete the team. I started asking any random female that walked by and found one more. Then I approached the dorm desk and found another. I never saw that blonde again - but married the random female that happened to be working the dorm desk that day. We actually won the league and are still married 34 years later. Awesome! |
