The woman's actions are childish and in poor taste (like the strange color of her hair). |

Whenever UK cops want to shut down public protest, or "free speech", they just roll out the old "public disorder" or "contributing to a breach of the peace" excuses. |

User ID: 79511251 United Kingdom 09/12/2022 12:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll just leave this here. Quoting: lightchild_uk From the European Convention on Human Rights "The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society, in the interests of national security, territorial integrity or public safety, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights of others, for preventing the disclosure of information received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and impartiality of the judiciary." You either have free speech or you don’t, there’s no in between. We don't have complete free speech, but we don't claim to either. What would happen in the US if the police saw a young lady with a Fuck Trump sign at a Trump rally? she'd be removed by his security most likely , but it wouldnt be the police arresting her unless she happened to be violating some criminal statue . holding signs in america isnt a crime ...yet. How about swearing in public and holding up placards with obscene words in front of the president? This had nothing to do with free speech. It was about behaving in a way that was a breach of the peace because it was DELIBERATELY meant to incite violence and general public disorder = you know - just like Antifa do when they pretend to exercise their right of free speech but end causing a riot..... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80804854 nobody does double standards like the brits Its inappropriate behaviour, bad form, not the done thing! If she disagrees, there are plenty of airports she can use. We know in authoritarian police states and quasi monarchies free speech and freedom, is inappropriate behavior, bad form, and not the done thing. Fuck it the monarchy are just a bunch of corrupt people just like all the rest. I personally might be pissed if I lived there and had to listen to church bells ring for over an hour just because one person died. Of course all you monarchists can eat your bugs and be happy, you already have the mentality of serfs and slaves. You all seem to love the nostalgia of the chains. Yes it is you compare your freedoms in the UK to this? less than 50: In the 1990s, Thailand earned a reputation as an emerging Southeast Asian democracy that respected freedom of expression. That is no longer the case. The five years since the 2014 military coup have been marked by intense government repression of those viewed as political threats, whether opposition politicians, activists seeking a return to democracy, or online critics of military rule. Starting with the week-long “attitude adjustment” sessions imposed on opponents of the coup, the military junta, called the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), sought to intimidate and silence opposition to its rule through harassing criminal charges, abusive prosecutions, arbitrary closure of tv, radio, and internet stations, and censorship of online content. You either have free speech or you don’t, there’s no in between. So you would thing you were safe and within your rights to walk into the majority area of another race, say a ghetto in the USA with a "FK whoever" sign? Would or would not the Police be quite likely saving YOUR life if they moved you on. The Supreme Court in the USA ruled that the police have NO legal obligation to protect or serve The People... In the USA if you are in a public space you have the right to be there are long as you are committing no crime. Sure those m000nkeeys could kill you but you as a white man have the UNalienable Right (made tangible by the US Constitution) to be in that public space, and there is NOTHING the cops can LEGALLY do to prevent you from being their. But we all know in the USA that the cops regularly break their oaths and violate our UNalienable Rights, and Constitutional Rights. |
