Exactly where is that promise in the Bible? All my years reading the Bible and I have never found it.

That's a fair question. I personally deserve to go to hell just as much as anyone else. The difference is that like all Christian's I have asked the Lord to forgive me my sins and enter my heart. You have still been blessed with a little time. Don't waste it.

Fear drives the so called believers and how can their so called God respect them for their cowardly fearfulness.

The wise Christian is one who believes what the Bible says and who has put all of their trust in the Lord for their salvation. We all fail everyday, but we pick ourselves up and keep on going because we know that that wonderful day is fast approaching.
The foolish Christian is one who listens to lying preachers, is distracted by the cares of this world, and was likely never more than a lukewarm believer in the first place.
