My husband and I formed a little society in our town, all but 3 (out of 7) families live on the same street so far. We have a big garden on our land that was the starter then slowly the families started growing theirs but it took a long time, multiple years. We don't really buy much from stores anymore, we barter with each other for almost everything. It would be nice if there were more communities like this, separate from the elite. I doubt the elite would be able to stay away from us though. They'd probably pay to watch us like zoo animals
