Most teenagers in general are all about me, selfish, & hideaway in their rooms. This is normal behavior of teens.

What's not normal behavior for teens is her X allowing their minor teens to publicly speak on matters that should be spoken behind closed doors and be used as pawns. It's downright wrong. The interview was indeed done for entertainment value and all for financial gain.

Yes, Britany ... you have to stay home and plan for the next day, getting well rested and taking care of yourself, so you can make a living, if you want to be successful.

Some families enjoy scapegoating the weakest or most emotional or artistic person in the family. This is a well known psychological event in some families, termed the "designated child" syndrome, whereby everyone pours their own failures and anger onto the designated child, as a kind of trash can. I'm sure this type of selfish family would have done this to her-- even if she had not become famous and rich.

Her fame and money however, intensified this evil scapegoating tendency in the family, and they basically traumatized her in order to keep her submissive for the purpose of controlling her money. The ex husband seems like a sneak to me, and he went along with it ---- for her money. Where did he get that nice house and swimming pool from ---as a backup dancer? He sucked up to her father because he sensed the power and money in the family.

The kids even said that they couldn't attend their mother's wedding because it would "mean trouble" with the rest of the family. No one in the family wished her happiness-- they just wanted control and her money!! How sad that her sons were "afraid" to go to her wedding and to wish their mother happiness for fear of offending their father and grandfather? Wow.....

The best thing for her to do is have a "mock funeral" for her family, and make a decision to enjoy the rest of her life with her new husband.

She should also stop speaking about the scapegoating online, which will only make it worse, as these people will NEVER change, and they will continue to send out flying monkeys onto her since they view her as their personal slave and scapegoat.

Sometimes a family is our own worst enemy. But we must rise above these people, dust off our sandals, trust God and make our own happiness--- apart from our selfish family. Forgiving their evil is also a part of it.

Dear Britney: find Jesus, clean up, begin your gospel singing career and fade to obscurity.
