Years ago, while thinking about the internet and an old horror movie I saw where a mad scientist was keeping a woman's head (only) alive, I told my husband that we were all going to become like brains in jars, connected to a bunch of wires.

Anyway, that's not the topic, Agenda 2030 is and eliminating parking requirements from new constructions means they're planning on forcing people to give up cars.

Years ago, there were videos posted here of a community meeting in the Bay Area. Someone here will know who the lady was and she has been exposing Agenda 2030 for a long time. That meeting was about eliminating single family residential zoning and it erupted into a huge fight. Well, that's what they doing with the no parking requirement legislation. they want everyone in Hong Kong style stack 'n pack apartments and only using public transportation.

Wow, so build vertical with tiny micro apartments and get rid of all parking so people are forced to use public transportation instead of cars.

Cali is definitely under attack and they'll be the "leaders" of the green movement that eventually other states will follow, exactly how things went down during the pandemic

So what happens when they force you to drive a vehicle that requires electricity, then they cut the power off?

Or, you simply won't have a car to worry not being able to charge.

With the scamdemic being exposed and massive hate of government because of it, I think the vast majority of states will NOT follow Califonia over this particular cliff.

Phenn, when the scamdemic started, there were all of those videos being posted showing how hospitals were empty (remember?) and in one of them from Manhattan, there was a semi being loaded up with medical equipment taken OUT of the hospital. That was during the alleged shortage of supplies. Right then I knew they were planning on dismantling the US health care system. It's already underway in the UK.

This guy is a doofus because that helps the greedy real estate developers who don't have to make parking for their overpriced condos.

About 6-7 years ago they passed a "green" law about new housing having to be built "up" meaning smaller lots and two story homes. Again the real estate mogul benefits because his one acre is now 20 lots instead of 6 at the same price.

Gee, I wonder who lobbied for that law.

Oh, shit, I got my threads mixed up! I've got another thread about how CA is going to start revoking licenses of doctors who won't go along with the scamdemic and obey what Gavin Newsom orders them to do.

But, on this car thing, I'll predict that they don't just wait on new builds that don't have parking. They're going to finds ways to after people WITH parking spaces and garages and try to force them not to drive. Possibly, it will be something like the new construction: if you're within six blocks of public transportation they'll ban you from driving.
