HAHAHAHAHAHA....the ONLY thing that MIGHT help is a Mason's symbol

:FACT:

My grandfather was a Shriner and he got drunk one time and ran over a bicyclist. The cop that came to the "scene" took one look at the car and my grandfather, and told me to drive home.

"He wasn't on the sidewalk when I hit him"

...

I won't cower to you or be "nice" to you. I won't roll over like a little puppy and show my belly.

I will treat you just how you deserve to be treated, with utter contempt. After all, you ARE trying to rob me at gunpoint.

What you do in response is on you, and I will have at least three cameras on you unploading video to a remote cloud
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84081988

And you are the exact reason I made my quota every month.

No one is asking you to genuflect, but a little respect might help you out. Contempt just makes things easier for the guy with the pen to crush out a bunch of paper and hand it to you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84076024

I'll see you in court, asshole.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84081988

No problem. I will enjoy my minimum 3hrs OT for court while you get to enjoy the extra court cost of $50 as well as your fine and points. Can't tell you the last time I lost a ticket in court. Everything is pretty much recorded anyway, you dope.

A sticker shouldn't matter. Just like Paul Pelosi's 'get out of jail' card. Break the law, get cited.

BTW, OP, LEOs (unless active duty military) are also 'civilians'.

Many LEO would argue that...but you are either military or you are a civilian.

Cops are considered "para-military" because of the structure of the profession, the imbuement of state authority, and the rules associated with it.

But yes, still technically civilians regardless of that.

honestly the true answer is NO.

The only way to get off with a warning is to be polite and cooperative .Less paper work .
Is a good thing. Unless someone called the police and complained then you have a problem.

Other ways is if your coaching their kids Doing voluntary work for the community , belong to the town commity.Wife and or friends have connections with the arresting officer .Or are a heavy hitter like 87 YEAR OLD SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE. It sucks when The Sergeant calls to let them tell you to simply give them a warning.. Usually on their personal phones.

It is a shame that a decent person has to share the same streets with a low IQ criminal gang that has no intent , courage or duty to protect us, and yet it is US who pays them.

We pay to be abused

If you are polite and cooperative they are automatically suspicious.

If you are short and non apologetic, they cower. They think to themselves "who saw me"?

LOL. The 14th amendment equal protection clause states everyone is a 'regular citisen' (sorry, the xy_ key doesn't work).

LEO are citisens, just like every other citisen. There is no 'regular' class (unless active military).

My NRA sticker might. Really, in my 62 years, the only thing that I have seen get myself out of a ticket was 1. Listening to conservative talk radio at a normal volume. 2. Being extremely polite to the officer 3. Having my wallet in my hands, both on the top of the steering wheel. ....and I had had a cocktail or two and he sent me on my way.

My uncle was a retired policeman and Free Mason. I saw a police officer wave him on his way as soon as he opened his wallet.
As above, so below.

Look ,

if you ever see a picture Of a perp on tv arrested for possibly pedo or a person refusing to comply, beating his wife Beating a older individual .And or
others/ We would simply smack you with a Breach of Peace.
But the only thing you notice is all the bloody bruises and or black eyes he are she are sporting on the news . People fall down the stairs ALL the time.Almost like epstines cameras. We have the right to set bail.. I know some will say bull shit that's a bench order from a judge . Those days are over... I;m retired and all the good old boys that would follow you home drunk made sure you where safe along with the company. Are over .. Almost every ticket has a bar code.
Just smile and wave.
