Bible study: Apostasy or rapture? (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
2 Thessalonians 2:3 - does it speak of the rapture or a falling away (apostasy) in the churches? All these gentlemen agrees the bible teaches the rapture, this is only for this specific passage and it ties into what we see unfold in churches today. Heres the answer:

And for the sake of settling the issue with the rapture, here are scriptures talking about this event:

Re: Bible study: Apostasy or rapture? (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Study the difference between:

"the day of Christ"

and

"the day of the Lord"

two different events in Scripture

The Day of the Lord is that time of judgment in which God will judge Israel for her unbelief (Jeremiah 30.7) and the nations of the world for their rejection of Christ. The day will end with the return of the Lord (Matthew 24.30; Revelation 19.11-19). He warned his listeners to be prepared for this day (Matthew 24.42-51).

The Day of Christ is distinct from the Day of the Lord as daylight is to dark. The first is a time of great anticipation, joy, blessing, and reward. The second is a time of terror, wrath, dread, and woe. Paul taught the Thessalonians that the two days were different and not to be deceived by anyone who taught that the Church would go through the Tribulation or Day of the Lord. Paul taught Christ would remove the Church, the body of Christ, before that Day for we are not “appointed unto wrath” (1 Thessalonians 1.10, 5.9).

Tribulation isn't Wrath, and the 'End Times' Tribulation isn't Wrath either.

Think about it.

For the last 2000 years, Christians have died from...

1. Violent persecution

2. Violent storms

3. Wars

4. Famine

5. Plagues

6. Earthquakes

7. Car accidents, diseases, tainted water etc...

NONE of these things were God's 'wrath' - yet they are all the same types of things in the first few Seals in Revelation.

Tribulation isn't wrath folks.

the bible does not teach rapture.. it teaches fusion with Father.... and there is no rapture just for Christians because Chistianity is a fake religion Jesus did not start.

you are not any more special on this world than anybody else is. In fact the cosmic and religious teachings in other religions are superior.

the bible is NOT the word of God and since Christ started NO religion the bible is the Christian book either... You ones need to learn to think.

There is no hell.. there is no rapture.. and you do not have to know Jesus or be a Christian.. Jesus cannot save you.. you can only grow your own spirit and he taught that. He is not God's only begotten Son.. all humans on the eternal journey are only begotten sons of the Father. Gawd I get tired of trying to teach this in OP's threads.

Thus the Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church is the correct view.
