I believe in the existence of rabies enough that I gladly took the shots in 1989. Got bit by a raccoon that I ended up killing and taking the head to the State Medical Laboratory.

they said 2 or 3 days to get the results, and the docs at the University of Missouri Medical Center said fuck that...take the shots.

So I did.

I foam at the mouth on occasion when I drink whiskey. But other than that, perfectly normal.

Poor fox

Happened a bunch of times in my town a few years ago. One attacked an elderly man and one of my son’s friends happened to be walking by. He ran over and curb stomped its little head. Righteous.

The fox was eventually killed by another person in the area, and tested positive for rabies at a Cornell University laboratory
