It has a distinctly garlic taste. yes it does...and garlicy smell we used to use it at a company i worked at as a solvent for one of the polymers we made... but that would be the S of DMSO...sulfur atom stinky compounds as a rule.. NAC is stinky but good for you...cysteine is sulfur based garlic etc.. but yes you got a poison, spread it out in DMSO and it will absorb through the skin. its like the transdermal patch solvent..
