Good thinking! Is there a tv channel? I love Clyde Lewis, but sometimes his demonic stuff gives me the creeps.

However, I can listen to Jason Breashears at Archaix.com forever.

He is a Fortean scholar.

On one show, he talked about Fort saying that frogs had disappeared in an English county. Suddenly a portal opened in the sky which rained live frogs. Think about that! Imagine the implications.

If you like WW2/UK, check out a series from a few years ago titled "Danger UXB" (1979) which was a british bomb squad specializing in unexploded ordnance (UneXploded Bombs).

Very well put together series IMHO.

Link to IMDB page for "Danger UXB"
[link to www.imdb.com (secure)]

Apparently you can stream season 1 via Acorn on Amazon Prime video, or you can opt to buy the series on DVD.

Having been with them since the inception, decades ago...and using the accompanying database website...I believe me and a bestest friend have seen the entire MGM and Warner catalog. Thousands.

Turner Classic Movies for the win.

Having inserted this hobby into my life has created substantial changes for the better.

Biggest take away...anxiety and tension are nominal. It's like visual valium.

I watch mainly old movies, but no longer fond of war movies

I prefer the gritty English 'drama' type films, such as this one - which does a good job of portraying how life was like in the 60s and 70s in a Borstal (youth prison)

Starring Ray Winstone

Get onto Youtube and watch the many old WWII documentaries and WWII veteran interviews. There are very few of them (soldiers) left now.

When I started work 40 years ago, I worked with men who fought in WWII, who would tell their stories. I used to go into people's houses who were WWI veterans, they too would recount their memories in the trenches as teenagers. They are all gone now.

Now Vietnam veterans are getting old, but fortunately their stories are being well archived. It seems when people head towards their 80's, they become ready to tell their account in an less glamorous, factual way. UK Falklands "conflict" 1982 is interesting too.
