On the tape, the man describes details of his plans to leave a dinner separately from his agents and other representatives, to elude their notice, so that he could meet her. Another excerpt includes "Mendy" calling the alleged leader of the crime ring, Juan Percowicz, to celebrate that she has confirmed plans with the man, whom she refers to as "Plácido." Was he was talking to an escort? 20 women have come forward in the past 3 years? Sounds like a "me too" because he's famous and has money. Why are men named and not women? Why are women protected and men are always guilty? I'm curious. America TV has recordings of him talking with a yoga class member, he’s making arrangements to meet her at his hotel… the same yoga school sexually exploited children. America TV also have more info about the children but they can’t show it on tv. Maybe men are more perverted than women that’s why you hear more about men paying for sexual favors. |

First hand account. When I sang with the SF Opera in the 1980s, Domingo had a standing "relationship," even though he was still married, with a 30 year old chorus woman. She looked like a young boy. Thin, small breasts, 5'1" and long hair she pulled back. He did NOT coerce her. There are women, and men, who are attracted to high talent and intellect. At this time, the general director for the opera, Kurt Herbert Adler, fathered, at 80 y/o, a child with his new 30 y/o wife! Domingo was not the only star with this type of arrangement, when they traveled into town for a month. When these 20 women came out of the woodwork, I just shook my head. They either slept with him because they thought they were going to get something for their career or because they were attracted to them for some reason. Of course, I won't dismiss them, either. But, unless they had witnesses, I would side with the "star." As above, so below. |
