Who would have thought that catering for less than 2% of the population demographic would end in this fiasco? Go woke go broke.

Stopped going to Target after the trans bathroom BS. Only been there once when hubby desperately needed to find something....which they didn't have so we didn't buy anything anyway.

I posit Target is a sacrificial lamb being used to further the "undermine society" narrative.
They know IT will loose money, but ultimately they don't care because they also own the other retailers you'll be shopping at.
So in the grander scheme "they" aren't losing anything as far as sector wide sales and capturing your dollars goes.
They also get to reduce the footprint it takes to capture your dollars by narrowing your choices of where to shop by bellying up this one - so it's a win win.

That only .21% of Targets shares are held by insiders seems to indicate the higher ups within Target knew exactly what the play was.

I'm just saying it quacks and has webbed feet. But maybe it isn't a duck? It's all circumstantial and I'm just hypothesizing on what's clearly visible from here.

I never liked Target and their crappy clothes even before they went woke. We don't even have a Target here anymore. They left town about 6 years ago.

They must be really dumb. They lost money after the bathroom crap.

Haven't shopped at target for years and it used to be a mainstay store for me.

Many companies no longer get my business.

I stopped going to Target when they banned Christmas and banned employees from saying Merry Christmas and they banned Salvation Army bell ringers...those store SUCK anyway I have no idea how they stay in business.
