Anonymous Coward User ID: 57601145 United States 08/16/2022 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | XCTC/Role Player (RP)/Civilians on the Battlefield (COB)/OPFOR/Linguist Atlas Advisors LLC United States Job details Job Type Part-time Temporary Full Job Description Atlas Advisors, LLC (ATLAS) is looking for qualified and motivated prior service military personnel or personnel with previous exercise support experience to fill various positions supporting exercises in the US and potentially overseas. * Qualified individuals filling these positions will support training delivery at the designated training sites on a part-time basis. Role Players, pyrotechnic experts, videographers, and linguists will play a critical role adding to the realism of training, challenging the trainees and enhancing the learning environment. Role Players also support training by assisting with the preparation and recovery of training venues, development of scripts, and other tasks as qualified. * * Potential Training Locations Include: Fort Chaffee, AR Camp Roberts, CA Fort Hunter Liggett, CA Fort Stewart, GA OCTC, ID Fort Drum, NY Ford Hood, TX Camp Guernsey, WY Fort McCoy, WI * ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES Portray local civilians, protestors, persons requiring decontamination, hostages, dispatchers, incident command roles, enemy forces, or government officials as needed. Utilize scripts and specific instructions provided by the site lead. Utilize foreign language as appropriate in support of developing a realistic scenario. Utilize moulage kits, special clothing, and props to simulate injuries during training scenarios. Portray an opposition force utilizing simunitions. Proper licensure to handle professional grade pyrotechnics Implace and utilize professional grade pyrotechnics to simulate effects in various training scenarios. May perform other duties, such as exercise facilitation, logistics, and equipment management as required. Complete additional assigned tasks by the Site Lead. Minimum Qualifications: US Citizen Role Player / COB experience Secret security clearance (for some specific roles, not all) Language abilities as applicable (for some specific roles, not all) Must possess and exhibit good written and verbal communication skills Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule day and night in all seasons All applicants must have a US government-issued ID compliant with the Real ID Act Must pass local security background checks Must pass local biometric screening Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting pre-mission training Experience working at combat training centers (CTCs, such as NTC, JRTC, JMRTC, and Twenty-Nine Palms) Military background with basic understanding of military operations, terms, and phrases United States Central Command (CENTCOM) experience (for some specific roles, not all specific) 3 years experience as a role player (for some specific roles) 3 years of experience working with Special Operations (only required for OPFOR roles) Prior service infantry or SOF experience (only required for OPFOR roles) Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Work Location: Multiple locations Work Remotely: No Work Location: Multiple Locations |
