is earth moving or is moving star over my head a ufo ? like satellite but its moving n stopping n changing direction

its circling in low orbit

small circles or stops

almost vertical above me

if in orbit be directly above brighton or similar on uk south coast

but if not moving then equally Earth could be moving slightly

check your stars especially straight up overhead

This is plenty of time to compose yourself and get a picture.

Two summers ago I started seeing these objects that would appear to be coming into the night atmosphere at a high rate of speed and very bright. Then would very quickly grow fainter as they slowed down, sometime disappearing. Other times, I could watch them long enough to see them change direction. They are definitely not satellites. My gut tells me these craft are man made.

OP I’m seeing something crazy, here on northern East Coast. It’s a very very bright light with green and red lights. It hovers silently and zooms away at all crazy speeds and angles! Some nights 2 or 3 will appear in different areas of the sky. The other night s smaller object, same thing very bright object and suddenly green and red lights, but then I saw a short beam of light coming from the object. Super freaky! Some are saying drone some say “ufo”, I don’t know what the heck I saw. It’s not every night it is there, every now and then.

Just looked out window and see nothing.
