Also anyone who drives a car in the 5 boroughs should pay a $10k climate change fee. Also all electricity bills should add a $1000 per month surcharge. |

NY governor Hochul set to create $34 tolls in and out of Manhattan to combat "climate change" I’m in Nothern NJ near the GWB. I already never go to the city, for obvious reasons…the toll to cross the bridge is upwards of $16, finding parking is atrocious and if you can’t it’s upwards of $40 to park in a lot. Add the gas it takes to drive in and you’ve now spent $60-$75 just to get into the city. When you get there, it’s more $$$ for the subway and you better pray no one pushes you off a platform or stabs you to death. Or rapes you in front of other passengers who do nothing to help, just record it on their phones. NYC is garbage. It USED to be fun…about 15-20 years ago it was fucking amazing! I had many great times there, a few girlfriends that lived there. Now it’s the #1 place to avoid in my opinion. I have friends that live in NJ and work in NYC and they are desperate to leave and get a different job. They have to pay taxes to BOTH states and the transportation bill is insane. I predict this policy will cause an even larger exodus from NYC. |

Yet, at a time when they need financial help the most, Kathy Hochul wants to turn the screws on struggling New Yorkers upward of another $34.50 a day. That’s right. Last week, the MTA released its plan to begin congestion pricing, charging up to $34.50 per day for drivers traveling south of 60th Street in Manhattan. I'm happy to hear this because the out of state drivers cruising my East Village, Manhattan neighborhood at night make air pollution that leaves me gasping for air and forces me to use more asthma medicine just to stay out of the hospital emergency ward. They also honk their horns a lot, waking me up repeatedly. However: 1.) The "criminal justice reforms" that allow criminals to roam the streets need to be reversed. 2.) Some kind of mechanical barrier should be installed that prevents people from being able to fall onto the tracks--some kind of gate that pops up and then goes back down when the train arrives. Damn Honkies! |

Walk, subway, electric taxi, electric bike, taxi golf carts, Trolly. Food and delivery can be done at night with smaller trucks. Move all distributor centers to the interstate corridors Fed-ex UPS Mail will be delivered by drone or robot You can get your own pizza and Chinese food |

If they are unable to use alternate routes, then they will either use the same route and pay $34 or not travel at all. How is that more traffic? Yeah, it's not. |

Last week, the MTA released its plan to begin congestion pricing, charging up to $34.50 per day for drivers traveling south of 60th Street in Manhattan. Many trucks that will not be able to use alternative routes will end up causing more traffic on major highways in the South Bronx and Staten Island. This means more bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Cross Bronx, Staten Island Expressway and other accompanying bridges along your commute to and from work every day. The New York City subway system has racked up many undesirable headlines over the last few months. We’ve had Daniel Enriquez, a Goldman Sachs employee, shot and killed on the Q train. We watched the video of a cop brutally attacked for trying to enforce laws against turnstile hopping just a few weeks ago. New Yorkers are grabbing onto poles and guard rails because they fear being pushed onto the tracks. I think if she does the same for drug trafficking it will help combat "drug epidemic" |
